Terms and Conditions

This site is operated by LettucePrep LLC, 10887 S Wilcrest Dr, Houston, TX 77099 ("LettucePrep", "we", or "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to place an order. You agree that the information you give us, including your phone number and pickup or delivery address, is accurate and belongs to you.

We cook on a weekly cycle. Each week's menu is available to order for a limited window, and that window closes at the cutoff shown on the menu. Once the cutoff passes we buy ingredients and begin preparation for that week.

Menu items depend on ingredient availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to substitute it or refund that item.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude applicable Texas sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. Payment is taken in full at checkout through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number.

If a price or item description is listed in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than honor the incorrect price.

Before the weekly cutoff: you may change or cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund. Contact us at hello@lettuceprephtx.com before the cutoff shown on that week's menu.

After the weekly cutoff: orders are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded. By that point the ingredients for your meals have been purchased and preparation has been scheduled specifically for your order.

If something is wrong with your food: contact us at hello@lettuceprephtx.com and tell us what happened. We review quality problems individually and will make it right where the circumstances warrant, typically with a refund or a credit toward a future order.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank.

We serve the Houston, Texas area. For pickup orders, the exact location and time window are announced before your pickup day and sent to you by email, and by text if you opted in. You are responsible for collecting your order during that window.

For delivery orders, you are responsible for giving an accurate address and any access instructions, and for making the delivery location available during the delivery window. If we cannot complete a delivery because the address was wrong or the location was inaccessible, we may not be able to re-deliver or refund that order.

Unclaimed orders. Prepared food left uncollected past the end of the pickup window cannot be held, re-prepared, or refunded, because it is perishable and cannot be safely stored.

Our meals are freshly prepared and perishable. Refrigerate them promptly on receipt, follow any heating instructions provided, and consume them within the timeframe shown on the packaging.

Our food is prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee that any meal is free from any allergen, and we cannot accommodate severe allergies. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, review the ingredients for each item and decide for yourself whether it is appropriate for you. Nutrition and ingredient information is provided in good faith as an estimate and may vary between batches.

If you opt in, we send transactional messages about your order only. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle text message data.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, abuse, or any breach of these terms.

You agree not to misuse this site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to it, interfering with its normal operation, scraping it at a scale that burdens it, or using it to break the law.

The LettucePrep name, logo, menu descriptions, photography, and site content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

Except where the law does not allow it, the site and our meals are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LettucePrep is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify LettucePrep against claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and LettucePrep agree that the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your order.

We may update these terms as our business changes. The version in effect when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. We will revise the date at the top of this page when we make a change.
